Del Mar offers excellent summer season facilities that will appeal to all ages. There is a newly refurbished bar/restaurant and children's play area too. For the sporty there are tennis, volleyball and basketball courts and a magnificent brand new swimming pool. Surrounded by palms trees the pool includes a kiddies' paddling area and sunbathing terrace. There is also an on-site shop and launderette available.

The campsite is situated in Argelès sur Mer, 25km (approximately 30 minutes drive), South of Perpignan. Separated from Spain by the Pyrenees and boarded by the Mediterranean to the East, Argelès is only approximately 2 hours from Barcelona, giving the area a strong Catalan influence.

The site is planted with majestic pines, waving palm trees, Aloe Vera and other exotic Mediterranean plants and is situated close by to a nature reserve. You may also see the local black squirrels that are said to be relatives of the red.

Only 500 metres stroll to the 7km long sandy beach, which has been awarded the European Blue Flag for cleanliness, there are plenty of local attractions and places of interest.
